not a big fan of this league or should i say board members but i like the concept of an open weight league to give more kids an oppurtunity to play.

My son will most likely be moving to TYFA next year as his weight is already at the max for Pop Pee Wee. I hope they can get everything worked out by next year.

Great to see the RGV representing here. So are the Snipers, Cardinals and Thunder still the teams to beat? I see that alot more teams have joined TYFA from the RGV this fall. After that great start last year from the RGV teams in the playoffs and championship games this should be an exciting fall season. I can't wait to see all the new teams and how they do.

snipers not so much but cards and thunder for sure, and i would throw in edcouch elsa since they combined 2 teams into 1....yes they have have expanded to about 26 teams now and will field both d1 and d2, not really sure where most teams will be placed but most of last years teams will jump up to d1

I know that the Jr Jags, NE Colts, Live Oak Jaguars, Jr Roughriders and Jr Rattlers are also in that area of town and are fielding senior teams.

My son is turning 5 in January and we've been looking for a competitive league/team near out location. We're located off 1604 and Potranco. Does anybody know of a team around my area that plays a Winter and/or Spring season?

TYFA can i have an explination as to why an offical was allowed to call a semi-final game where all teams there worked hard and deserve a FAIR chance, so why could he call the game when his nephew was on one of the teams. That should not even be an open door. TYFA is better than that, so please dont allow this to go unnoticed and disiplinary actions ignored. If we allow our future generations to get cheated now then what hope do we have in the future if we our cheating it already....
